Ben is my brother but isn't exactly a normal boy as he has Autism and Adhd which affects his Brain and Speech.
He was Diagnosed with Autism at the age of approximatly 4 1/2 and he was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of approximatley 5 1/2
I'm nearly the only person who knows every word he says but if i don't and noboady else does he will go mad and hurt everyone by i.e. headbutting, kicking, slapping, biting, throwing things across the room etc.
He has his own playroom which is were he spends most of his time alone watching his vidoes and playing with his toys.
Often one of his toys go missing and he'll get upset and do those things i mentioned up above. We know he doesn't mean it but it's all apart of his ADHD, but when he does it hurts and he doesn't feel a thing until afterwards.
I feel really sorry for him because some kids are afraid of him, and they know that he has Special Needs, They run away from him! But Wouldn't you?
I'm used to it and i love him becaues he's my brother and i've lived with him ever since he was born!
If he sees anything in your mouth like i.e. if you where chewing chewing gum, and you blew a bubble or he seen it in your mouth it would turn his stomach and he would sometimes gets sick.
At first i din't know what it meant, I wasn't sure what he would do because of it! Then i started to get information and write about my experience dealing with it everyday. It has been very successful.
Ben has calmed down alot.
When people ask me what is wrong with Ben, I tell them he has Autism and ADHD.
